connecting to christ and community

Are you new to Memorial?

our mission

At Memorial Baptist Church our mission is connecting to Christ and community.

We connect to Christ through worship, discipleship and evangelism.

We connect to community through fellowship, worship, evangelism and ministry.

We believe there are 3 ways we need to fulfill this mission.

Reaching up, in and out.

our 2026 focus

This year our leadership believes the Lord has lead us to focus on the "reaching in" part of our mission. We are doing this by "Pursuing Jesus" together.

Our Sunday sermons series for 2026 will follow the footsteps of Jesus through the gospels and into the works of the Holy Spirit in Acts.

We also have a Pursing Jesus devotional book we are doing together as a church. Each day has a set of verses our church family will be reading and answering questions about using the R.E.A.P Bible Study Method.

Then finally, our pastoral staff is putting our a weekly podcast where we will be discussing some of the verses that we have read that week in our devotional book.

Missions

At Memorial we are firmly committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord as stated in Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8. Memorial offers a variety of missions.

It is the heartbeat of Memorial to be active in missions in our local community, across our state, our country, and across the world.

Memorial offers each member the opportunity to serve.

We provide opportunities to serve in missions both home and abroad.

Furthermore, we have several partnerships with local missions right here in our community.

What to expect

We believe the Lord has called us to make a difference. We do not want to exist simply to exist. It is our passion to see a lasting change on all who will come worship with us.

Here at Memorial you will find all types of music, many different ages, and lots of different attire. Our main goal is to provide an atmosphere where people of all age, race, and class of life can come to worship, and be welcomed and loved.
